Purple Belt Syllabus
(7 months minimum training)

1. Blocking ankle take-down to top of knee on belt, neck crank, far armbar, udi-gatame, ashi-gatami to finish.

2. Omoplata Defence and Counters:
a) Roll out / armbar
b) Roll out / knee bar
c) roll out / roll to omoplata
d) sit forward / pull across sweep
e) Grab knee / armbar
f) Brink elbow to knee / -
g) Jump over / foot lock
h) Grab pants and pull arm and roll over.

3. Opponent takes you back wile standing up, rolling knee bar, opponent tries to kick out, kneeling leg squeeze lock to finish.

4. Double leg take-down to top of cross mount, paper cutter choke to mounted triangle choke to finish.

5. Bottom of north/south, back roll escape to rear side control, calf squeeze lock to finish.

6. Bottom of closed guard, advanced lapel choke, heel hook to finish.

7. Opponent tries a double leg take-down, scoop opponents arm and go into bottom of closed guard, half nelson, roll to cross mount, crucifix neck crank to finish.

8. Double leg take-down to top of cross mount, arm bar, blocked by opponent, omoplata, collar choke to finish.

9. Bottom of standing far guard, stiff arm backward sweep to top of cross mount, calf squeeze lock to finish.

10. Bottom of closed guard, opponent stands, move to far guard, move to X-guard, feed the arm spin sweep to top of cross mount, opponent move to half guard, death trap choke, anaconda choke to finish.

11. Bottom of closed guard, opponent stands, move to far guard, feed the arm forward sweep to top of cross mount, neck crank, to mounted triangle choke to finish.

12. Bottom of closed guard, move to rubber guard, omoplata, opponent blocks, omoplata body reversal sweep to omoplata, opponent blocks, omoplata body reversal to mounted triangel choke to finish.

13. Bottom of cross mount, opponent tries to mount, leg drag and roll to top of half guard, mick over pass, lasso choke to finish.

14. Bottom of cross mount, leg drag to bottom of half guard, move to bottom closed guard, opponent stands, omoplata, opponent shoots hips in to prevent omoplata, lock up arm, armbar to finish.

15. Top of closed guard, you stand, opponent move to X-guard, rolling pass to top of cross mount, arm bar blocked, omoplata to finish.

16. Single leg take-down opponent gets half guard on you and roll s to top of half guard, opponent tries kick over pass you do a kick over pass sweep to top of cross mount, calf squeeze lock to finish.

17. Bottom of closed guard, opponent stands, move to X-guard, x-guard sweep to top of knee on belt, neck crank to finish.

18. Top of cross mount, move to mount, blocked by opponent, top of half guard, lift leg turn knee pass to top of cross mount, paper cutter choke, neck crank to mounted triangle to finish.
